The overwheelming majority of lost forum users are saying that "dave" from this coming week's episode 2.18 "Dave" is Hurley's imaginary friend. Referencing to the promo pictures released by ABC Media a few weeks ago. So if "dave" Hurley's imaginary friend or not? We wont know till Wednesday, but we can take our best guess now.
additional info: the promo pictures show Hurley having his picture taken in the mental institution with a bald guy. In one picture the guy is in the frame with Hurley, but from another angle Hurley is alone with his arm reached out (some speculate the picture was taken by a doctor to prove to Hurley that Dave does not exist. Also since we know hurley goes a little crazy in the next episode, some are saying its because he begins to see his imaginary friend dave on the Island and Libby, who was a patient with Hurley in the instituion, helps reassure him Dave is fake.
What are your thoughts?
