Liberate te ex inferis - Save yourself from hell
This was used in the movie "Event Horizon" in which an experimental quantum singularity drive plunged the ship into what is thought to be Hell. The rescue crew sent to find the ship discovers the captain saying this bit of latin in his Log (as he's holding his freshly plucked out eyes).
