I posted this on another site as well, let me know what y'all think... Some Facts - 12 Hour Flight - 6 hours in Turn toward Fiji 6500 Miles 3250 in, turned towards Fiji 1000 Miles off course This puts the Island on the Equator, based on my rough calculations. The only Islands near the original flight/revised (post communication loss) flight path are Baker and Howland islands. Both of these Islands were used for MINING Guano for fertilizer (Reason for the Black Rock being there?). Except for that, Baker isn't really that important. However Howland Island has a bit of a different history... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Howland_Island"The island ... is perhaps best known as the island Amelia Earhart never reached." Amelia Earhart...Also LOST!!! Check it out and let me know what you think... Also, apparently, they were trying to set up a colony on the Island as well.

I changed my mind...After seeing King Kong, I think they're on Skull Island... Or at least the "Monster" is King Kong. Look at the way he rips up trees!!!
;D ;D ;D
(Just kidding, I don't really think this, but that was all I could think about while watching the stuff on Skull Island.)
ISLAND Movies have been RUINED!!!! All I can think about is Lost!

Didn't Amelia Earhart have a male traveling companion with her? She was supposed to do all of the flying, but he was along for the ride to assist. I think maybe that she and her companion were Adam and Eve found in the cave. Doesn't it fit the timeline for the decomposition of the corpses?

Nice Tie-in as well
since the bodies in the Black Rock were more decomposed than Adan and Eve
1857 - Mining
1937 - Amelia Earhart missing
I LIKE IT!!!!
Good looking out!

That's a very interesting idea. Yes, she had a navigator with her and they would have gone down somewhere in that region. How cool would that be!? See, they're giving us Losties too much free time to speculate and come up with great plot twists. Now we may be disappointed with what they come up with. :0
