Yes we heard the gun shot. But if you go back and look at screen captures, a good site is lost-media.com, you can tell that there wasn't a tiny hole in her stomach like a bullet would cause. I think that make be she sliced or cut in some way. Maybe by a knife or whatever. Also, I think that Ana Lucia(fer) wasn't the one who attacked Shannon. We never saw them in the same scene together. I think Ana Lucia's face looked more like a "wow, nothing is really there" and Sayid's was more of a "I know you. How could you do this?" kind of look. I believe that they were in 2 separate parts of the island. Also, because we know the others are silent, Ana should have known that Shannon wasn't an other. An other wouldn't come screaming and running at them.
That's my $.02, I want to know what you guys think of this. Also, love the show!

Yea i have tivo and saw that there wasnt much of a bullet wound, just blood, from the looks of it. I guess we really wont know until next week, but i bet next week wont tell what happens. It is just going to be about the tail enders, so it would be more like two weeks till we know for sure. "Ana Lucia(fer)" That's Nice  |

Wow, that's actually a really plausible and cool theory. I think I'm going to adopt that one myself, if you don't mind. I suppose we won't have to wait all that long to find out. This would make a mighty fine Listener Theory of the Week. *nudges Jack*

there is another screen capture i saw somewhere of the gun in a person's left hand, and sayid and shannon on the ground in the background. anna (saint) lucia -(see what i did there?) shot right handed, and had a wedding ring on her left hand. there is no wedding ring in the killers ass-view shot.
but the clothes are quite like anna-lucia's so perhaps it was just a continuity error?

Well I think that Anna Lucia shot her because if you look at next week's preview you hear her say "I killed someone he loved" and I don't think Sayid was too big on Danielle after the baby-napping took place. And maybe it wasn't Danielle, but Sayid didn't really *love* anyone else...at least I don't think he did, except Nadia.
