Hey I'm FrodoFreak87 (lets just keep it at that) I live in Oregon. I LOVE LotR, very Obbsessed, I'm like one of those crazy fans, only I didn't get to see RotK at midnight. I have an LotR site home.earthlink.net/~dafamily1/thegreendragon/and Forum bagend879.proboards45.com/ . I have 12 rabbits, 7 Guinea pigs, a parakeet and a dog. I show animals in 4-H. as for music I like Green Day, Keane, the Beatles and many many more! Movies, I like Lord of the Rings, as I said before, fav. actors, Tom Hanks, Johnny Depp, Elijah Wood, Kate Winslet, Bonnie Hunt and Amy Sederis. When I'm older I'd like to be an actress. Also I love Ellen DeGeneeres (but not in that way), she's like my Hero. of course I like Lost and if you're wondering what my avatar is, it's a puppet. I could go on and on, but I guess I'll stop there!

Hey, FrodoFreak! It's nice to see another Lord of the Rings fan here! Have you by any chance read the books? It doesn't matter if you haven't, I just wanted to know whether you were a fan of them as well, seeing that they're my obsession. I did love the films though. They were all very well cast, especially concerning the hobbits. I take it Frodo was your favorite . And I don't blame you, Elijah Wood does have very nice eyes.

yeah I kinda do have a thing for Elijah wood......hehe....but it's not just his eyes.
I have read the Hobbit and Almost all of The Fellowship, but last year I got VERY behind on school (Oh yeah I'm homeschooled too!) so when ever I want to read I read my school books, so never really get around to reading LotR. I DO like them very much though, and I hope some day I can read them!

Fantastic! I'm glad you're being persistant with them. God knows they can be longwinded at times. Believe me, when you get to the end of Return of the King, you'll be in awe.

yes I was pretty confused a few times in the Hobbit, because of all the dwarves and places that hadn't been in the movie, some times it was hard to imagine where they were. and I was also reading it before bed, so the fact that I was tierd may have had something to do with it...

Hehe, I actually read The Hobbit after I read Lord of the Rings. I was nine when my Mom gave it to me and she said I could read Lord of the Rings when I was done with it. She kept on raving about how fantastic LOTR was, that I checked it out at the library without telling her. Of course, once I was done with them I loved Bilbo so much that I had to start The Hobbit again. I really hope Peter Jackson makes a film of it, Ian Holm was a perfect Bilbo.
See everyone, I think this proves my nerdiness beyond a shadow of a doubt. ;D

Figured I'd jump into this forum, too, since this is my first day. Glad to see all these fun people here! I'm first and foremost a fan of Lost, but I also am hugely in favor of the new medium of podcasting. Jay and Jack do a great job and give all of us amateurs with opinions hope that we all can have our own show and some measure of "fame" as long as we have a microphone and something to say. I'm a 33-year old librarian (or "high school media specialist" as they pretentiously try and call us these days) in Ellicott City, MD, and I also teach advanced television production to seniors. We have weekly Lost discussions in class! Fun, huh? I've been listening to J&HJ for a month or so now and am happy to meet everyone here on the forums!

Hey, navigator! Welcome to the forums! I'm glad you decided to join. I've never met a 'high school media specialist' before. Oh, and while your in the mood for joining up, might I suggest the Lost Podcast Team? It's really quite easy and has some great bonuses every month. ;D
