I made a forum on September 18th and opened it then. I thought since season 3 is coming in less than a week that it's about time I promote it here. The forum's name is The Insane About Lost Community Forum. I only have five members so far. It's kind of small but it's good enough for the members we already have.  I wouldn't mind if you would all join if you aren't too busy or on too many forums, which I expect you are. I have many boards and subboards. Dear pogsklinc,
I told you once in a PM that my reason for not being a member is that I am already a very active member in two forums and I can barely keep up with what’s been posted on both of them in the way I would like to. I imagine this is the reason why most of the other members here do not feel the need to join your forum either. Next to “Jay and Jack” we’re also members of the Fuselage, the ABC boards, Flight815 Survivors … and many other forums.
This is not a personal attack to you. I bet we wouldn’t join any other new forum that doesn’t offer a new perspective on the show either.
I know it is exciting to have an own forum … to actually be in charge of it and to decide on the names of the categories. But you have no website / no blog / no podcast to accompany your forum which would probably provide some fresh content to talk about.
Maybe it would help to recruit members at some place where people aren’t already registered to 3 to 6 Lost forums already. I don’t know … You’re still very young. If a Lost related forum doesn’t work out … maybe you can invest into another show?
