Love the show, always interesting to hear what everyone has to say about LOST. Just a few issues I have noticed during the course of a few months listening. It would be awesome to take an additional hour or so after recording the podcast to do a better audio scrub and to test the podcast on various devices to ensure proper levels. I don't know if you guys do, but I would also be using an analog or LED digital VU meter to ensure proper levels when recording. If you do, please try and pay more attention to it, or set a limiter, PLEASE! Often times certain words spike and distort particularly when you guys turn away from the mics to speak to one another or whatever else you're doing. Which brings me to my other suggestion. Please alter the mics layout so turning to speak to one another or looking at a piece of paper or computer screen for recap notes does not leave lulls in audio levels. It can be frustrating to try and listen to the recap when the levels are so inconsistent when I already know what happened because I watched the show. Often times I find myself skipping to the end of the podcast to hear the listeners clips and you're feedback. Thats all I have really. Keep up the good content and I'll still listen, just wanna hear the better production qualities Take it easy guys

While I would love to take an additional hour or so while recording that means not sleeping at all thursday through friday. It already takes a good 6 hours of work to produce a single episode of the podcast. Then i have to write a blog article for The Huffington Post.
Then I have to shower and go to music theory and music history for 3 and a half hours. Then make the 2 hour drive back to raleigh to be home to record the monday show, and work what little I can to make money to be able to buy food to eat during the week.
So yes to have those things would be nice, but we've said it before this is a hobby, and we still don't make anywhere near enough money to make it a job.
Thanks for your suggestions,
Jay

Hey Guys, The new podcasts are sounding great. Thanks for extra efforts, even while poking fun at me I can tell you guys do care and it makes listening casually far easier! Keep up the good work, and who knows maybe a nice letter to ABC and Darlton with some support from your celeb contacts (garcia) would find some sort of small funding for your production. Its worth a shot. Anyways, thanks again and keep on trucking, we all appreciate it. Just another way for us to feed our LOST addictions Take it easy BKW

That's great, Jay sounds better but smells worst Tell me about it. I had to make him promise to shower before he got his birthday gift tomorrow. Thank goodness "Lost" isn't on tomorrow night. I may get a shower two whole days in a row!
