To attend the LIVE Lost podcast with Jay and Jack, here are some steps for you: 1. Head over to talkshoe.com and create an account. 2. Download the talkshoe client software to your computer. This will allow you to listen in to the live feed and give you access to our chat room. 3. If you have a microphone, there is a button called "ShoePhone" that will allow you to speak on the podcast at the permission of Jay and Jack. There will be a button at the top of the client labeled something like 'Request to talk', press this when you would like to speak and wait for permission from Jay and Jack. Basically they have to turn your account off from being muted. The podcast starts at 9:30 but there will probably be a 10 minute delay while the guys set everything up. Here is the link to their podcasting page: www.talkshoe.com/talkshoe/web/talkCast.jsp?masterId=15146&cmd=tcWhen you are allowed in the chat room, there will be a button called "Listen Live' or 'Join in'. something along those lines. Please be sure that if you plan to speak that you are wearing headphones because if we can hear sound through your computer speakers, it gives a weird feedback. Hopefully you have tested your microphone before attempting a first time use tonight on talkshoe. Hope to see you all there! |
