My understanding about flashbacks and the Brig is
So, no flashbacks isn't likely.

that while it was originally rumored that The Brig would with no flashbacks, it has been since then revealed that it will have flashbacks, they will just be very recent flashbacks.
My guess - it is Locke Centric and comes in at Locke being with the Others traveling, and the flashback is what happens when he see his dad in the closet to saying goodbye to Kate.
