I've been voting (long time lurker, first post!!)
As I own the domain I use for my e-mail, it seems to be letting me use any combination e.g. anything@myemail.co.uk. This means I have voted everyday, as has my husband, two young daughters and cat!!! ;D ;D ;D All are verified so I guess they count. Not sure if I can keep this up but I will certainly try...

I just voted for the 2nd time - using a different e-mail address - the only downside to this sttrategy I see is that they are also checking the IP addresses of the voters. I mean I have voted once from home and once from work - using different e-mails. I just hope if they are chesking IP numbers that they don't discount ALL votes from that number for a given day and they at least take 1.

Do you think I should just vote the once? I'd hate to think I was depriving them of votes! I assumed the IP checking would be automatic when I verified the e-mails... My husband also enjoys the podcast so his vote is just as legitimate! Can't honestly say the same of my daughters and cat though...

I voted yesterday - no verification e-mail so far... I just voted and got no verification mail. At first I thought I misspelled cause it was my new chris@lostfreaks.com ( ) mail address I am still not that familiar with yet but I did not.
Yet I was able to send out a second vote with the same mail account for which I finally got a varification mail.
Started to spread my voting on different PCs because of the IP thing.

So would that mean that my past three votes have gone uncounted? For a contest that says it spent lots of money perfecting the voting process, letting votes just disappear is a problem. RECOUNT!

Well I just sent an e-mail with the dates that I didn't receive verification e-mails and what my votes were. Hopefully, they'll figure out what's going on.

Hi, I just received this email from Todd at the PodcastAwards.com regarding the email verifications:
Hotmail is blocking all of our e-mail, great service, makes you wonder what else they are blocking, we will make sure all hotmail votes are counted.
Todd..
