I will be there all four days, so I will be lining up first thing on Sat.

The good thing is that Room 20, if I am reading the map right, is one of the bigger rooms, so there will be lots of seats. Don't get me wrong, it will fill up, but there are a lot more seats than in a regular/smaller panel.

I think that everyone should get in line as soon as they possibly can. It will be hard to hold too many places in line or seats once they open the room. Since it is so early, that is probably the first panel/event in that room that day, so they may open it up early and let people start getting their seats, so that will help too.

How early do we need to get there? I might not be able to get there very early. And are we meeting somewhere?

It will depend on what day you are arriving on the meeting up. If you are coming before Sat, then we do need to set up meet times and places (i.e. Sails Pavillion or some other easy place to find). If you are arriving Sat, then we will meet outside Room 20 since that is where the Lost panel is. It is at 10:30 am. The doors open at 10, but people will line up much earlier. If I remember correctly, the registration area opens early, and perhaps the doors to the hallway for room 20 will be open too. I hope to be there around 8ish, but it will depend on my companions and how fast we all get ready and over to the convention center.

i just registered onnline and it says that registration doesnt start until 9 on saturday?

Even though you are registered, you still have to get your badge at the registration area. It will probably be 9 before registration area opens for getting the badge. You will take your registration paper (did they have one for you to print once you registered?) They will have your info and you show your id and they print you a badge. The badge is what gets you into the events.
