The Jay & Jack website is exceptionally coy about the relationship between Jack and Jay, but I could have sworn I heard, in the last podcast, Jack give 3 separate indications that he is Jay's father...
When talking about the previous weekend, Jack said that he had seen Jay's relatives.
When talking about being hurt, he mentioned that Jay's mother would wonder what had happened.
When mimicking what Jay might say around the house, it sounded like Jack had Jay referring to Jack as "Dad."
Each time, Jay sorta shushed Jack. Anyone have any insight on this?

The origins of Jay and Jack are shrouded in mystery and should remain that way. Like the creators of LOST, they throw out hints and outright fabrications to throw us off.
Keep in mind that Jay is now known as "Jay Green - Hero for Hire" and live with it.

i think Jack is Jay's mom's boyfriend/husband, but not Jay's biological father. In fact, Jay's mother went on a vacation sometime in the late 70's to Australia and met a man who was working with a government funded research agency, the Hanso foundation. There she lost her head in a week-long fling that resulted in her leaving Sydney with an extra special gift. 9 short months later, Jay was born into this world. His true origins not explained, he would later go on to manipulate all the events in both his mother's life and the life of Jack to find them both here running this podcast. In truth, Jay actually works for Dharma and Jack is merely another experimental study.

Hey all.. I was just wondering if I was the only one which noticed this. In the podcast 1.30 S.O.S. jack referred to jay many times as his son, and also he kept referring to jay as his mother. Jack continued to blow it when he also spoke about jays childhood... Hmmmm... something's fishy..
Unlocking mysteries one at a time..
Cheers,
Jordan

It's a bit circular that people complain about the Official Lost Podcast constantly digressing into dull absurdist sarcastic diatribes, yet any question or discussion here winds up the same way. It's like being trapped in bad Weird Al lyrics.

I think Jack is someone who would just mess with us. However, when he said something about "your mom" asking how he got a cut from hockey, it seemed really natural. I wonder if Jack could be Jay's uncle or something... that would connect him with his mom and it might not be as weird as Jay calling his dad by his first name.
Yes, this stuff is off-Lost topic. But I think their personalities are an important part of the show so people wonder.

Jay and Jack allow for "ramble time" and still cover a lot of Lost related info as well. If the Official podcast would add more juicy tidbits along with the rambling, we would be just fine with their rambling too.

Actually, Jay's last name is something like Glatfelter, and I could've sworn that Jay mentioned Jack's last name in one of the more recent podcasts to be something like Herder or some name that started with an "H".
Or I could be completely off.
