awesome show. fantastic work. i like the song at the end. it gave the episode a cool reflective moment. it made me take comfort in the fact that Jen and Ryan are now part of the Lost Fan Podcast family of Listeners!

and while on the subject of Sayid, there was a question to why they never show Sayid praying on the show, my feeling is that we only saw him in the ( temple, mosque, I;m spacing on where muslims may worship) in australia, and that was only to make contact with his buddy, so I don't think Sayid is very devout or orthodox.

and there is always a question of Faith on the show. Sayid could have possibly lost his faith after the loss of Nina (think that's her name), the loss of his friend that killed himself. we know that he regrets a lot of things that he had done in the past, and it seems like he is starting a new leaf.

Yes, Muslims worship in a mosque. Like I was thinking that too when I had asked Jay and Jack the question, that he was doing it just to get to his buddy, but then I realized that he was from Iraq. In Iraq, religion and Islam is a large part of society, as I'm sure most have noticed from all the attention Iraq gets from the media these days, so I would imagine that Sayid would have been taught and used to pray often.
It's a possibilty that he had lost his faith after Nadia's disappearance, but there hasn't been anything so far to imply that that is the case. I recently got a response from Javi on the issue:
