All right at the recent Mod meeting we discussed the Board Rules here and decided to add a few revisions and amendments
Before i get to the rules if your new Welcome to the craziest LOST board this side of the worlds biggest ball of yarn.
First rule of the Listener Forum, don't talk about the listener forum..Oh wait never mind that one.
1) All right rule number one. Post in the appropriate area: It really helps the organization of this place if we keep posts in the appropriate area. Each board is pretty self explanatory so read what each one is and post in the one that would be the most appropriate.
For Example: Don't put a post titled "Maggie Grace and Ian Somerhalder are Dating!!" in the Lost Theories section, it would make more sense for it to be in the Lost Questions and Comments.
If you posted in the wrong area the mods will move the thread to the correct forum.
2) Rule Number 2. Respect your fellow forum members: LOST brings about a lot of opinions including Jack and I. It is definitely OK to disagree with someone, but please do it respectfully. Don't say "that is the crappiest peace of junk thought ever, good job lameo" If you disagree please be civilized
3) Rule Number 3. Use the Spoiler Tags if needed: Spoilers can really ruin an episode for some viewers, and as a part of respecting your fellow members, using the given spoiler tags to hide spoilerific material solves the spoiler problem.
What and How do you use the spoiler tags?
Write the spoiler like so "everyone works for dharma" then highlight the text and click the spoiler button in your create post box. It looks like this
once you do that you spoiler will appear like so
See now you can post your spoilerific material, and those who want to see it can and those who dont....dont
Whats the rule of thumb for spoilers?
Anything not already seen by watching the current show. Anything pertaining to future episodes, even "Next on Lost".
So use the spoiler tags and everyone will be happy
4) Rule number 4. No use of Obscene Language and Content: Use your better judgment here, we have never really had a problem with this. Rule of thumb don't use anything that would be too obscene to make it on the show "LOST". If you post something that is not appropriate the mods will ask you to change it, and if you don't reply they will change it for you.
5) Rule Number 5. You must Register to post: We've been having problems with spamers and forcing you to register to post will prevent most of the spamers that spam here. Oh and for some reason the email verification doesn't like AOL addresses so make sure you register with an other email address system.
The people in charge here are Myself, and your elected representatives, The Remote Viewers, You can recognize the Moderators here by looking for the lighter blue stars (not dark black and blue ones ). If you have any questions I or the moderators will be able to help you. Just PM them.
If your new a introduce yourself do it here. Make a new thread introducing yourself, and get to know your crazy forum members

So thats about it. This forum is growing, but the one thing that makes this place special is the great people that post here. This forum has a great laid back, happy go lucky attitude. I and the newly elected Moderators plan to keep it that way;)
