I think your observations on the film were correct, Jack. My favourite part was when Fox went all Jack on that player in practice for the late hit.
It made me laugh, though, when McConaghey moved behind him in case he had to stop Fox from pounding him....but what's he going to do, really? Punch him in the knees? Fox has like 10 inches and 40 pounds on him.
