Hey Jack, i was just thinking about the drop of dharma supplies on the island when i had a thought. If the supplies were dropped by a dharma plane, helicopter, air balloon, whatever, why wasn't it pulled down by the same magnet that supposedly pulled down flight 815?
I think that now scence we know that dharma is alive and kicking, this leaves the question of how did it get there? Was it just that dharma has a non-metallic plane (like in x-men) or does it mean that there is another base full of supplies that just dragged them over?
I tell you it was none of these! the answer (in my opinion) is that because dharma is obviously monitoring the goings-on in the hatch (ie "Walt" was able to contact them) that they could have done the following in a two step manner.
1) they could have had some sort of computer monitoring the supplies of the hatch and just automatically send refills as a normal routine set into motion before the days of Desmond.
or
they supplies were simply a response to the numbers not being entered in.
2) once the dharma people at dharma head quarters (dhq) learn of this they send there plane for where ever it comes from to drop off the the island and they use a garage door opener like remote to turn off the magnet and let the lane do its thing peacefully and than leave.
i know this sounds theory-esq and i know i rambled all over the place waaaay too much but i wanted to hear your thoughts on my idea and also would like to know how th fact that something metal had to have dropped off the goods impacts your theories (having to do with the magnet crashing the plane)
