You suggest both Rose and Bernard are part of Dharma, and know the safety and whereabouts of each other.
Rose, I could believe you (although she clearly puts the mask over her face as the plane goes down, ill still buy it), she really seemed sure bernard was ok.
But I am watching, the Other 48 Days episodes, focusing on the tailies, and Bernard asks Eko if any of the dead bodies he saw were "African American." Bernard is in tears at this point, clearly concerned for the well being of his missing wife. Rose was concerned to, but rather than crying, she mostly just separated herself from the group.
Let me know what you think, and also, are you guys doing a podcast this week? I sent an email and would love to hear my theory read and discussed by you two.

Oh and also, why was Bernard seated in the back of the plane when Rose told Jack he was just back there for the bathroom. But when he was found on the island, he was in a seat, belted in, in the tree.
The only thing I could think of was that maybe after the turbulence started he decided to grab an empty seat and buckle up rather than walk back up to Rose, it's a little strange either way, maybe some fodder for your theory.

I really believe Rose works for Dharma, I'm not sure about Bernard. I just figured if this was a Dharma experiment, they would need someone to watch Jack's group and someone to watch Anna and the rest, so that's why I picked Bernard. But at first I was only going to say Rose was a Dharma employee.

I really don't buy the whole Rose being a Dharma employee theory. I just don't think there's enough evidence for it and to most people it would seem like it came out of nowhere. Definitely a cool possible twist, but I don't see it happening. But hey, it's a theory.
Also, when watching the pilot yesterday, I noticed that Rose was knocked out and Jack had to resucitate her with CPR. If Jack hadn't come to the rescue, she would've died, and Dharma would've lost an employee assuming that she is working for them. Does Dharma feel their employees to be so expendable, or was her lack of conscious an act?

i don't think Rose would have been so vocal about the fact she 'knew' Bernard was ok if the reason for her knowing was down to her being part of dharma. If she was a dharma employee then she would surely do her best to blend in with the group and not say really obvious things like 'my husband isn't dead'. I think she was just another passenger and her feeling that he was alive was gut instinct and belief.
