Hi, Jack. When were you in Hawaii? You're not going to believe this, but I think I know the lady who bumped her head. If so, she is a former patient of mine. We were so excited that she was going on a wonderful trip that she really needed. When she came back, she told me this horrible story about how she hit her head on a branch while trying to keep up with her husband on a trek to a waterfall and how they never did find the waterfall. She told it just the way you did with the big bump and bruising. She said she was really hurt and her husband didn't believe her.
Hearing you talk about it kind of spooked me a little. Either that is a killer trail or that was her.

Either that is a killer trail or that was her. I think it was back in 1987. I felt so bad for her, because her husband really didn't care. If it was the same couple, it would be like an episode of Lost.

Nope. Not her. Funny though. Must be a trail hazard there in Kaui. Knocks 'em out like flies.

That would have been cool if it was the same woman! But it's not, too bad!
