But anyway, after listening to your latest Crackpot Theory of the Week, I just started to wonder: "Where does he come up with this stuff?!" Theories usually have some form of basis to them or evidence to back it up, but I got the impression that you were kind of just writing your own story into Lost. I could go back and get a little more detailed about but I don't see any point because it's such a small thing that makes a little difference and I'm not in the mood to go back and listen to the theory. These were just my initial impressions.

But yeah. Stay cool, dude.

Hehe. I usually think it's great food for thought, like the whole Locke suicide dealio. That one seemed really plausible since it had a foundation, but this one. Whew. Came outta nowhere that one did.

I don't know guys. I suppose it is to each his own, but I'm really not feeling this theory one bit. I liked that Jack went into that there is a possibility that the girl in the picture could be someone other than Desmond's girlfriend because the wide assumption is that it is his girlfriend, but I think the whole thing is a huge stretch.

Now I give everyone permission to kick me in the face if it turns out Jack's theory turns out to be right.

I can see Desmond and Jack being related, although it may not be explained that way.

I think the reason Jack was so emotional chasing Desmond is that he was finally coming to terms with the fact that there was something 'more' going on here...That perhaps he and the others were being manipulated in some way.

Yeah, I can kind of see Desmond and Jack being related, but I wouldn't bank on it. I suppose you could say I'm a man of science and I wouldn't come up with a theory without any kind of hard evidence sustaining it.

As for Jack getting emotional, I'm going to have to agree with you, matt. I think it had little to do with what he saw in that photo of Desmond and the girl. I mean it's tough to accept that this guy that you've met before somehow ends up on this creepy island with you, and this same guy is a huge reminder of his past with his wife, which we are led to believe ended most unpleasantly. That'd make me pretty emotional too. If I wasn't a man of steel that is.

I agree, this weeks theory was a bit of a reach.

But a few things have always bug me.

Why did Jack's Dad go to Australia?

Why did Jack stare at the picture in the bunker?

Why did I lose my hair?
