Daffy Duck is sooooo much funnier and saucier than Donald Duck, Scrooge McDuck, and Huey, Dewey, and Louie combined!

Am I the only one who wanted to see the Roadrunner and Tweety Bird (but not Speedy Gonzalez) captured and eaten?

Oh and one of these days I just want Sylvester to catch that blasted canary and silence his adowable lil' speech impediment forever.

LOL!
My thoughts exactly.
Do you have any of those fantastic DVD sets - Looney Tunes: The Golden Collection? A must-buy. I have Vols. 1+3. Need to get 2....

I have the first one. I need to get the rest, I really do. I love all the Daffy and Porky cartoons on the second disc. 'Ducksters' is so classic. That game show reminds me so much of Fear Factor for some reason.
And now, you must pay the penelty!"

Oddly enough, I always think things along those lines when I'm reading Greek myths. Great Kings are always being told by the oracle that their sons will grow up to kill them, etc. But instead of killing the baby himself, he sends some kindly shepherd to leave him on the edge of the woods until the elements kill it. And then the shepherd either takes pity on the baby, wolves come out of the forest and raise it, or some other king comes along and raises the baby as his son. They kinda beat around the bush. ;D
