I don't think there would be any good reason to cancel Lost right now. It is no longer a ratings juggernaut, but it is still a ratings winner. Also, canceling Lost before the big questions are answered wouldn't look good for ABC when it comes to fan relations. I think there will be one more season after this, and possibly a full or partial pick-up for a fifth season. I believe it is in ABC's best interest to hit the 100 episode mark that Damon and Carlton want, because 100 episodes is more attractive for syndication.  + 24

i really hope they have an alternate reality season. I don't know, I'd say that would qualify as running Lost into the ground. I don't think it can go for that long. |
