Where did "Remote Viewers' come from?

Alright this is porbably the dumbest question in the world and I am wasteing your time Jay..or someone else taking the palce of Jay which si still super cool (or "super tight" as my history teacher said lol) but where does "remote viewer come from? I've heard the term on some tv show...I can't recall waht it was

well i cant reveal all the details of what happened but a few months ago jay desired to gain new mods 5 i think so for 3 days there where nominations then voting the next 3 lostpodcast.proboards2.com/index.cgi?board=ss&action=display&n=1&thread=4442&page=10(i made it with a late push due to a cut throat campaign stagaty masterminded by sporty502 )

well after finding out our new powers we needed a new name not lost podcast team leaders because that clashed with servo3k being a rebel so another vote was held called lostpodcast.proboards2.com/index.cgi?board=ss&action=display&n=1&thread=4447

and so there i believe official Ben came up with the name as a joke but that was the time it was a prominent theory so it won
