"Jack's wife, My mother... she has a way of butchering classic sayings" I still claim that Jay is just explaining their distinctive relations to Mrs. G there to new listeners without revealing too much about the whole dad / stepdad mystery. I don't see how that's the ultimate proof. Somebody explain to me. ;D

oka, if Mrs G is jack's wife, AND Jay's mother, then that means that jack is married to jay's mom. now, this would make him either 1. jays dad, or 2. jay's stepdad. If you listen to the earlier eppisodes, you'll see that as soon as jack says something about him being jay's father, jay denies it without missing a beat, and they both act as if it's a joke. also, they did that whole darth vader joke skit about jay being his father. also, they look nothing alike and act a lot like step father and son, tho it would be weird to hear a real father and son talking ilke they do, tho i guess we have no definite proof that heyre not father/son, its unlikely

Exalt-a-Shinra cause he's indubitably shmart. + 74

And now - as Wesh once said wrote in on a podcast - "The Shining Truth".
Jack was born in Pennsylvania and at an early age - quite possibly while he was in diapers and had hair - his father and mother took him and whatever - if any - siblings to San Diego for some reason. Were Jack's parents looking for a new life in California after hanging out with the Amish for many years? Were they on the run from the law? We're not sure - but neddless to say - Jack ended up in San Diego where incredibly - since Southern California is NOT known for breeding hockey players - he became a hockey player and still coaches to this day - albeit in Raliegh.
During his travelling with a series of minor league hockey teams - Jack met a lovely young woman with a great right hook - as he found out after a game one night in Medicine Hat, Canada when he suggested something about he and her and a Zamboni.
While icing his jaw the next day - Jack realized he was in love with that Canadian Hottie with fire in her eyes and after 23 more visits to Medicine Hat and a few black eyes - Jack managed to talk her into coming back to San Diego with him.
On their drive from Medicine Hat to San Diego - with a quick stop in Reno, NV to get married - while crossing the desert - Jack and his new bride stopped at a roadside drink stand and heard a child crying - and there they found the baby Jay - in a stable in swaddling clothes.
The new "Mrs. Jack" wanted to take him with them and Jack was having none of it. Another black eye later - Jack - Mrs. Jack and Baby Jay were in the car and heading to San Diego.
And there you have it - Jack is Jay's - not sure what you call that since a check of adoption records in California and North California show no evidence of an adoption. Jack = "Father Figure" - Jay = "Foundling"
There it is - "nuff said" - I dare anyone to say diffferent.
