Jay works for Dharma (I have a theory)

So I get in from playing basketball after work, of course I hurry in and exalt the Karma King that is known as Jack. I catch up on the forums, next thing I know it's almost an hour later....time to hit Jack up again, right? Not if Jay can help it.

I'm due to hit Jack again at 9:34 pm ET and at 9:32....BOOM!!!

All the power goes dead.
Now, I've already calculated that Locke not pushing the button caused a butterfly effect (part of chaos theory) that in turn blew up my iPod at work yesteray.

And now, another theory.

Jay knows that Jack is going to catch and run away with the Karma race, so he enlisted the aide of a known enemy of Jack's, Dharma. Why does Dharma hate Jack you ask? Simple. Jack has revealed vital information about the Dharma initiative.....that an underwater hatch exists. So, Jay enrolls with Dharma, and Dharma let's Jay in on a secret about the flame hatch. The flame hatch contains a device that can control the weather.

So, as a new employee of Dharma, Jay sets out to hurt Jack by not allowing me to exalt Jack at the pre-scheduled time by creating a huge thunderstorm and causing an hour long power outage.
