GALE/LOCKE/LETTER and Dr. Candle/Hurley's Shrink

Jay and Jack,

A few weeks ago I left a message on your hotline with great (pretty sure it's true) theory on Dr. Candle, but I have to be honest as an avid listener to your podcast I feel like i have been shunned by no response. If you forget I will remind you. Dr. Candle is the same Dr. that spoke to Hurley at the mental institution. Just look close enough to see the similarities and the way he says goodluck to Hugo. Libby and Hugo do know each other from the insitution. Where the patients are all lab rats for DHARMA. Everyone on the island has either had or been thru some traumatic experiance that would make anybody in the real world either talk to a shrink or be institutionalized. That is the connection between everyone. And I also believe that Locke slipped Henry Gale a message in the book. Also whoever Mr. Ecko chooses to side with is going to win this thing. Dude, he could actually beat the snot out of everyone and thing on that island. I also think he is building a church. I would love for you to read this or play my voicemail on the show. love the show.

yeah I called in one too...at first when there was no response and it wasn't played I figured they didn't like my theory...then I thought they have a lot to do...they'll get to it eventually!

I have to disagree with the Candle thing Mikedog. I looked up the actors who play Candle and Institution Doc and they are different people.

Yeah. Everyone seems to think that Candle and that doctor are the same, but they aren't, and it's been discussed countless times on various message boards. It's not the same actor, and there's no connection here.

And I believe its been discussed on past episodes of J&J's podcast, so playing a call with the same thing that was talked about before is pointless. I'm sure they woulda loved to play it though.
