What is the exact process of making a podcast? I always imagined that you'd walk into like a radio studio and do it like a radio broadcast, but then I thought about it, and realized that made no sense whatsoever.

So how exactly is it done? Do you and H.J. sit in front of a computer and record yourselves with a microphone, or am I totally on the wrong track?

Well from what I know about it, the actual process of making a podcast is pretty simple; it's just finding the time and the material to do it.

All you really need is a microphone and a place to put the RSS feed, plus some type of basic editing package, and off you go.
