Question for the North Carolina hosts: Is "munster" the way North Carolinians pronounce "monster," or are you just using the name from "The Munsters" TV show for kicks? I'm just curious because neither of you seem to have any sort of regional accent (I'm not sure what I expected a person from North Carolina to sound like - perhaps more Southern) except for just this one word. I'm just used to hearing the "mon" part as the same as in the word "monitor." Not making fun... just something I noticed.

Well I am not a Native North Carolinian I am a born and raised Southern Californian. So thats why you don't hear any regional accents. As for the Munsters to monsters i dunno i think i say it that way because when i was a kid i used to watch the Munsters and in my impressionable mind i thought that was the way to say Munsters. So thats why i say it that way....I think. As for Jack i think it involves a lot of Alcohol.

Well, Jay, I was born in Southern California, and I don't say 'Munster'..and I spotted immediately that you weren't from Raleigh. So there's your theory for regional accents out the winder.

We'll all freak out when Herman and Lily come wandering out of the jungle later this season.

navigator, you're right. I was thinking that as well, but I just figured that in an earlier episode I missed that someone made a joke about the television show and it stuck.

It would be fun to have Herman and Lily Munster and maybe even Grandpa show up in a dream sequence. I know, maybe different Lost characters could play the parts. Eko as Herman, Kate as Lily, Locke as Grandpa, Claire as the pretty neice (can't remember her name right now), and of course Walt as Eddie.

The niece was Marilyn and the son was Eddie(who would be Walt). They lived at 1313 Mockingbird Lane.

That's right, Marilyn.
Didn't Eddie have a pet, too? Walt has a pet. Hmmmm...
