Emma, you went from Cali to ALASKA? Dude, I think I'd die. Someone would be walking down the street in Alaska, in shorts because it's 40 degrees above zero, and there would be me in five sweaters, dead from cold.

Hehe, it's true though. I would be freaking everyone else out here in Philly by wearing shorts in November. I wanted to shout, "It's fifty degrees out people, IN NOVEMBER!!" In Alaska there would be about two feet of snow on the ground. ;D

Hi guys, first post here - just rewatched the ep, and I found there was a funny vibe to the Jack/Kate kiss - when she was speaking to Jack, it struck me that she seemed to almost be speaking to someone else, perhaps her army stepdad. He and Jack both seem to share that self-righteous quality.

I think that it wasn't innocent that Kate's Dad is in the military and in the Other 48 Days, we learned that the US Army may have been on the island, something like 20 years ago, approximatively by the time, Kate was conceived ! Think about it  More is to come, stay tuned with Rasalghul ... |

This is a stretch, but Kate's father has served in Korea (perhaps returning for another tour after Kates birth), and Jin would likely also have served in the Korean military (although not necessarily army) being an adult male. It's possible they may have crossed paths at some point.
