General information on using this forum

Hi:

I can't seem to get the search function to work correctly, and the one link i found links to this forum, but not to any specific topics on adding avatars. when i go to "modify profile," i don't have any sections about signatures or avatars, so i cant' figure out how to add one.

maybe i'm just forum-/avatar-challenged. well, no...i AM forum-/avatar-challenged. but i still need help!

p.s. is there an option to be notified once a post has been replied to?

For the avatar/sig question: When you click on "Modify Profile" scroll down until you see

(Click "Show" to see the image)

For your second question, I don't think that there is a way to be notified, but you can bookmark threads and then view them later via the "Bookmarks" tab on the "Profile" screen.

To Bookmark a thread, just click on the "Bookmark" icon on the bottom of it. Hope I helped.

Hey powers that be!

Can you guys add a button that we can use to report obvious spammers? Or at least nominate them to be cast out of the message board (kind of like smiting but worse)?

There's one that has started their own thread (I think it's called FDFD - trust me, you'll know it when you look at it)

I flagged it to Jay already - he is the only one with admin powers to ban. I left the post there so he could see it. I can delete it once the user is banned.

i would also suggest sending a pm to a remote viewer or jay. and if it needs to be deleted.

Quick question for you all that probably seems obvious to long-timers:

What's the difference between the title beneath your name ("God", "New Member", etc.) and the stars under that title? Is there any place that lists the different titles, star counts, etc. and what it takes to achieve all of the various levels? It would just be neat to see what they all mean, is all.

It has to do with your amount of posts. You become a Junior Member after 50 posts. A Full Member after 100. A Senior Member after, I think 200. And a God at 500. Past that I'm not sure because I'm not there yet!
