Ok, everyone is obviously miffed by this new development but still, I havent seen anyone ask the obvious: Why the hell is there a label saying "Theatrical" glue? THEATRICAL!? Wasnt Dharma meant to be a serious scientific communal type place for po-faced scientists doing experiments and studies? Sure; duping test subjects might be a part of their experiments, so I can understand why there would be costumes, but its just very weird that they would make a label for a jar of glue and write "Theatrical" on it.
Very bizarre. Anyone got any potential answers?
One theory I've been formulating is that the Dharma people are planting stuff around for the lostaways to find on purpose to screw with them (in David Fincher 'The Game' fashion). Oceanic plane toys, fake beards, etc. But I dont know why. Doesnt make much sense, lol.

Well, no one wants to put real glue on their face. Theatrical glue is temporary.

Well, no one wants to put real glue on their face. Theatrical glue is temporary. lmao, good point! I just had funny images of an annoyed 'Zeke' trying to pull the fake beard off. But still, I think there's something up with the writers calling it 'theatrical', its meant to implant ideas in our (and the characters) heads. Maybe there actually was/is a Dharma theatre on the island. I'm sure the island folk would need entertainment now and then, and being the cultured Uni of Michigan taught people that they are, they'd opt for theatre. The guy (forgot his name) from the Generally Speaking podcast sometimes refers to the jungle people as the 'Peter Pan' type people and it would be funny if the clothes they wear were originally worn by Dharma amatuer 'actors' in a Peter Pan production. Thematically it would be very apt and ironic.

You sure love to read way into things, Cihan.
I'm extremely sure that the fact that it says theater glue means little to nothing.

'Theatrical' was to make the losties feel 'duped' or fooled. And that way the directors make it a bit easier for the average lost-fan to understand what was happening in the show.

Perhaps a big part of what Hanso/Dharma does is study groups of peoples in primitive conditions. Dressing like those you study would help to allow researchers to do their work better. Given this then theatrical glue might be used a lot.
Or it could just be an overzelaous prop person.
