Escape Hatch

I'm not sure if anyone mentioned this before, but anyways *ding*, when I was watching Maternity Leave again last night, I noticed that when Ethan was walking Claire down the hallway to the baby's room, there was a door with words above it. I paused it and saw that it said "Escape Hatch". So where does it go? Is this where everyone went? How did they know to escape? Maybe Libby tipped them off, assuming she's an Other, which a lot of people do, including myself. Here's a cap:

If every bunker has the ability to have the blast doors come down at some point, the escape hatch might be...you know...an escape hatch.

In which case there might be one at the Swan bunker, so if the blast doors do come down trapping people, the writers will resolve that situation by having them discover an escape hatch. Although why they havent discovered one already is beyond me. Our castaways are a bit slow though...
