Didn't Henry Gale tell the balloon story when he was still in Danielle's trap? Then he repeated it in the bunker.

I am positive. That's the only personal and significant information he gave them before he took an arrow to the chest. Everything else he says is a bunch of help's and over here's and he also said he'd been tied up since last night and that Danielle was crazy.
