it looked to me that he knew what he was looking for, not just randomly opening the books to see if there might POSSIBLY be somthing in one of them. I think that it has somthing to do with locke being affilated with Dahrma.

even if locke was looking for something in the books, why did he feel the need to lie about that to sawyer? he was definitly up to something, otherwise he could have just said,"i am looking for more film in these books"
the producers must be setting up something with that. maybe we will see next week?
