Thats another argument entirely I think, although in my own opinion and belief, I dont think Islam is a religion anyway, its a way of life. Systems of living throughout history always get corrupted or broken off into different systems, the name always stays as a label, so in the end everyone just gets confused.

Whether he prays 5 times a day or not we don't definitively know since we don't see him all hours of the day. If he ate boar I guess he isn't that devout. Although what else could he survive on. Fish thats it.

Actually in Islam its advised not to eat food thats made in the name of anything other than God, pork, blood of an animal or an animal that died by itself. However if you do eat by accident or have no choice in the matter then you are forgiven so if Sayid was a Muslim and knew the Quran then he could eat boar if he was in a life threatening situation and not feel too bad about it.

Although its possible to survive on just fruit and fish on that island, as our castaways have been doing lately (not counting the Dharma peanut butter binge)
