During the scene in Deus Ex Machina, when Sayid is making glasses for Sawyer, I noticed that the paper in the background says "SAVE...PROPERTY OF...(Something).COM. Can anyone tell what the address is, or can anyone enhance it so that the text is somewhat readable?

Interesting. Looks like something "birds" or "girds" maybe.
I'm not being much help here. Birds would be interesting, though, because the producers have made a big deal out of birds like it's an important clue or something.

Do you know where the paper came from? If we knew the context, it might help. Is it just scratch paper from the plane? It's not Danielle's map is it? Sayid was working on solving the map at about that time. If it is the map, why does it have a .com reference on it?

I thought that too. I can't see any real features on it that would make it a map, but it could be. If it is one of Danielle's papers, that would be really weird.
I asked Javi about it on the Fuselage, and if/when he gets back to me, I'll post it here.

Tried to pop the red and such in photoshop, but there is just not much image data there that might help: I do think the ending is com, meaning this might be a web address. JLSK

Thanks, that's really cool. It definitely shows that the ending is .com. I got a response from Javi, if you can call it that, lol.

methinks it's an easter egg because of how many people were commenting on the fact that there's no birds

I agree. I think it's significant that the only really visible part of the address is "birds".

Wow. I've never thought about that.....there is a lack of birds on the show. Infact, I can't remember ever hearing any either.......but when watching a show about a jungle I usually don't pay attention to bird noises. I will have to chek that out later

You haven't seen the "Hurley-Birds" :-) Also, there was that really odd shot of the eagle-type bird taking off from the tree in one of the earlier episodes. JLSK
