I found some cool facts from imdb.com and not sure if these are already known... 1)Hurley uses the numbers 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, and 42 to win the lottery. During the season 1 finale, as Hurley drives to the airport, the numbers appear on the dashboard as the car stalls. Running to the gate, he passes a girl's soccer team with the same numbers on their uniform jerseys. They also appear on the hatch exterior and the vial Desmond uses for injection. 2) The symbol on Boone's shirt is the Chinese symbol for the number 84. Reversed the number is 48, The exact number of Survivors when the plane first crashed. 3) When the idea was to have Jack killed off in the pilot, the creators discussed casting Michael Keaton as Jack. 4) The book Sawyer reads is "Watership Down" by Richard Adams. It tells the tale of a group of lost rabbits searching for a new home. 5) Vincent, the dog, is actually played by a female dog, whose name is Madison. 6) The symbol that Claire wears around her neck is the Japanese kanji for "love". 7)Charlie's shoulder tattoo reads "Living is easy with eyes closed". This is a lyric from the song "Strawberry Fields" by The Beatles 8) In episode #2.6, Walt is speaking backwards to Shannon in the tent. He says, "They're coming, and they're close." 9)The website www.oceanic-air.com and www.driveshaftband.com are websites run by ABC in order to promote the series. According to oceanic-air.com the Doomed flight crashed on September 22 2004.

From what I understand I don't think the drive shaft site is run by ABC. thehansofoundation.org is though. You can tell because the terms of use that they are legally obligated to put on the site.
I just read about Charlie's tatoo today - apparently Dominic is a huge Beatle's fan.
Thanks for the info!

I just read about Charlie's tatoo today - apparently Dominic is a huge Beatle's fan. Who isn't? ;D But yeah, the only one of those I hadn't known was about Boone's shirt. Do you think it stands for the number of survivors, or is it just another numbers reference?
