If Locke had done all of the talking, I think we would have found out a lot more than we did. Jack was too hostile and stubborn to have a fruitful conversation with Zeke. What a wasted opportunity.

That was a completely different situation. The seabillies were in a mission to get Walt. No one could have gotten out of that. This situation, however, could have turned out a lot better than it did. They wouldn't have gotten shot, they put down their weapons. I think Locke could have reasoned with Zeke, as much as possible at least.

C`mon, Jack did his best to stick it to the man. Locke would have rolled over and played dead at a crack of a whip.

I just think Locke has strayed a lot from the great character in season 1. Now he`s tame but also becoming dangerous.
Also well done to Foxy for a stunning preformance in the episode. Great stuff!

I don't think they needed sticking to yet though. I wanted to find something out, not see them get pregnant doged out.

I think "Mr. Seabilly" knows that Locke was the driving force behind popping open Swan Station... Maybe he holds a grudge for that. And the way he told him to build a fire seemed, in a way, to show a lack of respect.

i still think the best question is why jack didn't ask them howe to get off the island, since they seemed so keen on getting them off of it.

I would have asked if I were in the same position, but I can see how it didn't seem likely that they would volunteer the information.
