Yes, strange, but setting him up to be the heir apparent to the Dharma empire. Kind of like a twisted Willie Wonka or something.

I think if this was a "who would you LIKE to die" Ana-Lucia would be winning by a land-slide

I don't think Michael because of his connection to Walt. Without him, we won't care as much about Walt and we know Walt won't really be back around until next season....
I think it will be Jin. They have not done much with thiese two lately, but they have something coming up soon, i Believe. Also, if Jin died, and Sun is acting like she is, it could end up being a guilt thing for her... like everyone else...

I also thought Jin could be the next one to go. But then again he is still a developing chracter, he a nice guy now, his marrige is better, and he is learning english. I saw an article with him on cnn.com yesterday, and it didn't seem like he was going anywhere

Charlie, mainly because he`s becoming a little bit of a shallow and worthless character. Plus, Dom said himself that he would mind being killed of IF "it was in a very heroic way".
Also, i can`t believe so many voted for Michael. Am i the only one who thinks he realy evolved as a character since the ending of season 1?. d**n man, i love the guy!.

I agree with you, Michael has really evolved. I would like to see him develop even more and resolve some of his issues. Still, if you look at the odds of who is in the most immediate danger, I think it is Michael. He's lost his rational thinking abilities, he's a captive of some very brutal people, and he still needs to rescue Walt. He is probably going to do some stupid move and get himself killed.
If they go for Charlie, I would just hope it wouldn't be a drug overdose. Too much of a downer.

Very true, but this is the way i see it.....
1) Michael can`t die due to him being Walts father and they can`t have Walt without a daddy 2) Jack can`t die (yet) due to him being the main leading role 3) Hurley can`t die due to him being the only source of comedy on the island 4) Clare can`t die due to her having a new born to take care of 5) Sawyer can`t die due to him being the only "love to hate" character on the island
Anyone else?

Someone voted for Libby. How 'bout Libby? Hurley has a love interest in her. Everyone and everything that Hurley gets close to has something bad happen to them because of the curse of the numbers. Maybe he and Libby get together and that is the death knell for Libby.

lol
Maybe it`s too soon for her to die though.
I heard a rumour that, to make some space for new characters this year that the writers are considering killing a bunch of characters of at the end of this season.

That could happen in their first skirmish as an "army." They really don't know what they are up against. It could be like lambs to the slaughter. Maybe Libby's "stealth bomb" that the producers talk about is she has some kickass military/spy/CIA background or something.

Good idea! That`d be a great finish to the season. Picture it, in one fell swoop Charlie, Kate and Sayid are killed off by the others. That would actualy be great to be honest. Although....let`s replace Sayid with Locke

Charlie sacrifices himself to save someone, maybe Claire, but I don't see her joining the Army really. If they really did something like that, 50 million jaws would hit the floor in succession through the time zones.

That would be a nice finish to charlie seeing that he`s getting like a bit of a third wheel nowadays. Still, maybe his next episode "Fire and water" will make me like him again but i suppose we`ll just wait and see.
