Hey, I'm new to the forums and I just wanted to talk about some X-Men/Lost connections:
-On one of the episodes of X-Men the X-Men go to an island (which I believe is owned by Magneto but I'm not sure since I'm doing this from my childhood memory) and professor X, who is normally in a wheelchair, is able to walk much like Locke in Lost.
-There are huge magnets on the Lost island and Magneto owned the X-Men island. -In X-Men there are dinosaurs on the island which might be the equivalent of the 'monster' on the Lost island (or 'munster' as Jay and Jack call it).
-This is a stretch but I might as well throw it in there. Walt reads that spanish comic book and X-Men is a comic book too..
Please post on what you think about these connections and if this has already been said then I'm sorry it's my first day.

This must be the X-Men cartoon? I don't believe I recognize it from the comics (although I haven't actually read them in about oh...5 years now)

Interesting...I wouldn't be surprised if members of the Lost crew were fans of comic books; I guess the closest parallel in comics is the Savage Land, a 'lost' section of Antartica with a tropical climate and unusual wildlife.

Heh. Interesting finds, but I have a gut feeling that it's not a possibility. That, and the writers have said that the monster isn't a dinosaur.
