So, we talked about it on the Christmas Thread, but I was wondering what y'all consider your favorite scenes?
I would have to say that one of my favorite scenes (apart from Arzt blowing up and the guy getting sucked into the Jet Engine) would have to have been when...
...Hurley's batteries ran out...HILARIOUS!!!
That is something that I would always complain about... "How have his batteries LASTED SO LONG???" and then...they died... ;D ;D ;D and the best line ever, "son of a b****."
SO, WHAT ARE YOURS???
(And none of this "I Love The Whole Show" we all do otherwise we wouldn't be on this board.) ;D

I guess I'd vote for the OMG CHARLIE IS DEAD! EXCEPT....NOT! scene.
Also in Walkabout when we first see Locke in the wheelchair...OMG.

When the raft left. I literally bawled, and that is my favorite piece of music in the entire show. It takes some stones for a man to say he cried, but that was the MOST powerful scene in the entire show.

One of my favorites is when Hurley and his friend steal gnomes and spell out, "Cluck You," on Randy's lawn. Very original.

The scenes in Exodus with Hurley just running around the airport had me cracking up. But as for best scene in the series so far...I'd have to go with the discovery of Locke's wheelchair or when Sawyer pulled the bullet out of his arm (that was impressive!)

I'd also have to say the "Pee on it" scene was Hilarious as well.
Or when Hurley and Danielle meet up in the Jungle and hurley loses it:
H: Please, tell me why you wrote this. What do these numbers mean? Please.
D: I don't know.
H: What? You don't know? Okay, that thing in the woods, maybe it's a monster, maybe it's a pissed off giraffe, I don't know. The fact that no one is even looking for us, yeah, that's weird, but I just go along with it because I'm along for the ride, good old fun time Hurley. Well guess what? Now, I want some friggin' answers!
So yeah, pretty much anything with Hurley in it is an awesome scene. I guess I identify with him, we act very similar, and I have had several people tell me that I remind them of Hurley.

Not to mention you could still see the cheesy montage scene going on in the background! But, in the same vein as that, the scene where Arzt and Hurley were sitting on a log and Arzt essentially spells out the little nit-picky complaints everyone has always had about the show like, "Why won't Hurley lose weight??" and "How come no one else on the island ever does anything??" The whole thing just had me rolling. I think I'm the only person in the world who really missed Arzt after he exploded. ;D

Oh, that was awesome. He just pointed out what we all noticed about the Red Shirts. We never really focus on them, just our main guys. Basically, Artz is the unpopular kid of the bunch. If he had stuck around, he would have been the Hurley to the Red Shirts. Different sense of humor, but the comedy relief for that group nonetheless.

some of my favorite scenes have already been talked about: locke in the wheelchair reveal. the end of the episode that boone dies in with locke on the hatch.
i love the last scene in season one when it just pans down the newly open hatch and reveals the long tunnel and broken metal ladder. (as well as the whole opening scene in the first episode of season 2 with desmond (brother!) living in the hatch.
the beginning of the other 48 days when the tail section crashes into the ocean.
all the great locke moments. the reveal of the suitcase full of knives. locke flashback at the box factory when he's on the phone as colonal locke. the orange peal frown to smile in the first episode.
the reveal of the blackrock was really cool.
in white rabbit when jack swims out to save the girl. dive down to rescue her and comes back up with boone.
when sawyer gets his new glasses.
more to come!

The fellow on the podcast who mentioned the fella getting sucked into the turbine made an interesting call.
For me - the separation of Jin and Sun (I wish their reunion had been delayed to give it a little more impact). As well, the boarding scene at the end of the 1st season finale - really tasteful and touching.
