The Betti Williams exhibit of lifelike watercolor and oil paintings is open and free to the public at the Hill Library for the month of February. Oil Painting¡°My daughter and I have gone round several times,¡± said a story time mom, ¡°My favorite one is the farm with the field full of daisies and black-eyed Susan; the flowers are so delicate.¡± Abstract Painting On display are landscapes, water front scenes, front porches, and as young library patron Marlee pointed out, ¡°I see a kitty!¡± Building PaintingNow a resident of Strafford, Williams travels through Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire doing shows. People Painting In the past, she enjoyed teaching art at all levels in the public and private school systems showing artists of all ages what they can do with paint and brush. Williams work as a Coast Guard artist can be found in the Coast Guard Museum in Washington D.C. with works such as ¡°Dawn T. Rescue¡± a painting of the Coast Guard coming to the aid of a stranded pleasure boat. Children Painting
