I am sick of her talking about how she was "abandoned." No one freaking abandoned her, she abandoned her own child! And Kate should not have to apologize for raising Aaron.

Claire took Aaron with her when she followed after Christian. We don't know what MIB did to her after that that resulted in Aaron being left by the tree.
If Claire was infected, could she really help that?
After she left, no one really looked for her. Maybe called her name a couple times, but...then they just left.
And this past episode they were ready and willing to do it all over again. Didn't even try to talk to her about what happened or anything. I'd have my feelings hurt too.
