You asked for feedback about if we can think of any times that we have seen Michael or Jack S. do something bad.
I think based on what they have shown us it seems that both have consistently tried to do the right thing, even when it cost them dearly personally.

dr jack is a little high strung. especially recently. he has no patience. he is super high strung, and is really starting to separate himself from everyone else. he used to want to help everyone, now he seems to be a bit more jealous.
michael has knocked locke out and put him in the gun locker. that might be concidered bad, but his intentions are not.

So, with what Ralph is saying, maybe Jack and Micheal haven't done anything heinous (sp?) yet, but may do so on the Island. That could be interesting. Kind of like, "Welcome to the abuser/murderer club." Of course, as far as we know, Sun, Hurley, Walt, and Claire aren't in that club yet either. Locke and Charlie both crossed over on the Island, Locke with Boone's death and Charlie shooting Ethan.

Didn't Jack ask this because he thinks everyone on this island is here for a reason? Maybe he thinks that everyone has done something to 'deserve' his or her spot on the island. I did listen to the podcast, yesterday if I recall correctly, but I can't remember exactly. I listened to too many at once to do that.

I think there's a big gap between Locke's stalking his father and him being in a wheelchair. The same with Jack, there's a lot of space between the splitup and him searching for his father in Aussieland.
But with Michael, I think he must have done something before which we've yet to see, because we saw him in Australia to pick up Walt, right?

All Michael did was kill Ana Lucia. Now is that really a bad thing

Well, he shot Libby, too, and is setting up a major deception of the rest of the Losties. Bad, bad, bad, mal, phooey.

Well - yeah - he did kill Anie LuLu - but remember his reason - his number 1 reason - is to get Walt Back. The real question is what is still hanging over his head - who else does he have to acrifice to "The Others" to get Walt Back. Was it simply freeing "Henry" - somehow I doubt that.

Oh, and Jack Shephard did a bad thing, too. He burned the ending of the book Sawyer was reading. I don't care how stubborn Sawyer is, no one deserves to have that happen!
