Has anyone noticed a recurring gold-colored Pontiac Bonneville in Lost? One of Ryan and Jen's listeners mentioned that the same car appears at least three times.
One - hits Michael and sends him to the hospital. Two - almost hits Locke when he runs after his mother. Three - Kate's boyfriend crashes into it and dies.
Anyone know anything about this?

Yeah, I was talking about that with my brother after rewatching Special. Either it's a big coincidence or someone really has it out for our Islanders.

You would think that if they can afford to make a mega plane crash reenactment, they could afford more than one demolition car. OR is it one crazed Dharma employee with a lot of time on his hands to drive all over the country and run people down? Seems to me that the gold Bonneville is deliberate. Maybe it is the Hanso company car for a certain level. Kind of like Mary Kay. Maybe when you get to the top level you get a really pretty pink Mercedes.

I heard about that on Ryan & Jen's show. I hadn't noticed it, but looking back, there it is. I wonder how much of this stuff means something, how much is coincedence, and how much is just the writers messing with us...

It must be the same person driving it.

Alfred Hitchrooster as HJ suggests? Marvin Candle? Paris Hilton and her little dog, too?

Maybe it was just a cost-saving prop and had no other significance then? Maybe they were embarrassed we called them on it. If gold Bonnevilles are indeed Dharma cars, neither Rose nor Bernard was driving one in the snow. That would go against Jack's theory of Rose and Bernard being part of Dharma. Sorry Jack.
