Remember backk when Richard said this to sun when she showed him the old dharma photo with the losties in. But in dr Linus he isn't suprised by jack & hurley. Also I can't remember them ever speaking 2 one another (hurley and alpertt). Continuity or hiidden scene? Any ideas dudes?

Richard's seen so many come and go between his long life and their time traveling...he may just not quite realize they should be dead having just come from the explosion he probably witnessed.
Buuut...it's probably an oversight.

Same thing with Hurley and Richard acting like they know each other...Jorge said on his podcast that was the first scene he'd ever done with Nestor. So technically, Hurley and Richard have never met before then.

Ever since that episode, I've thought he was talking about the DI people being murdered and that he mistook the time traveling losties that ended up in the DI to be just everyday DI people.

Hurley and Richard might have never technically met on the show, but I believe when Richard came strolling out of the jungle last season into DHARMAville and Sawyer went to speak to him, Hurley and company were looking out the window. So we can assume he learned quite a bit about Richard from the DHARMA folks.

Also, I have always been bothered by Desmond's early statement that he told Charlie that he saw Claire and Aaron boarding a helicopter and leaving the island...huh?

That happened in 1974. Hurley wasn't there.
