I just rewatched Season 1's "House of the Rising Sun" and thought Michael's lines had lots of foreshadowing.....As he's getting ready to cut Jin free of being handcuffed to the plane he's talking and ends with "And I thought, why let a $20,000 watch go to waste? Which is ridiculous because time doesn't matter on a d*** island."
