On another thread, SpinalTumor posted a link to a Damon Lindeloff interview. In discussing the Season 6 promo poster, he said this: "Well, I'm not going to explain why anything is what it is, other than that everything is by design. You'll just have to watch the final season and decide for yourself. It's a little bit like, "Why is Paul McCartney holding a cigarette with his right hand when he's a lefty on the Abbey Road cover?" One of the posters shown on DarkUFO is photoshopped, as the original has the cast in shadow. Makes me wonder about some things:
- Does anyone know if it was simply contrast adjusted, or were other photos actually pasted in?
- Did they do it because there are characters we haven't seen before, but they are hoping we mistake them for someone else?
- Similarly, did they do it because some of the characters have significant differences - hair color, scars, tatoo of "Not Jacob" across their forehead, etc?
- Will they release a more brightly lit version as we get closer?

Other photos weren't pasted in. Even in the darker images, the silhouettes match up. And all the character images are still ones we've seen from previous Lost shoots, other than Locke.
And again, because everyone comes from pictures you can find elsewhere, I don't think there's anything new hidden in their details.
I think any hidden clues are within those hieroglyphics and possibly the order, placement, and presence of the characters.

I just noticed that Charlie seems to have the "FATE" tape on. So it's season 1 Charlie...
And I also love how Locke has his back turned. Really effective/interesting.
