Is anyone else watching this show? It's on after Lost, and is really good.
For those that have not seen it yet. A guy got hit walking across the street in 2008, when he woke up it is 1973. We do not know if he is dead, in a coma (the likely candidate), and why he is there. It's got great music, a great story line, and is a perfect show to follow Lost. I love the cast too. And Michael Imperiolli's stache is awesome. lol
If you are not watching it, do so.

I watch it! It's pretty good. I've missed a couple episodes but I don't think it was anything crucial. I'm glad it hasn't been canceled yet.

I love watching two shows in a row about time traveling back to the 70s.

I picked this show up after the premiere in the fall and really loved it! I never watched the Brit version, but hear pretty good things about it as well. It puts a more comedic, light-hearted angle on the whole time travel/paradox after such a "mind job" from Lost. I love the premise and the music is always great to move the show along. The only sad thing about it is that when The Unusuals or whatever premieres in April, LOM will be no more

I watched the "original" Life on Mars - the British version - loved it - the 2nd season was a little weak - but still good. Watched the 1st couple of episodes of "Ashes to Ashes" - but couldn't get into it for some reason. Maybe I'll have to give it another shot.
Kind of a bummer that the ABC "Life" has been cancelled - but I am not surprised. American network TV needs to take a page from LOST, British TV and Cable - shorter seasons - the original "Life" ran for 2 seasons - a total of 16 episodes and was good - they had a beginning and end - Dr Who runs for 13 episodes per season.
Much like they finally figured out with LOST - when you have an end in sight - things are better. They tell the story and get out - no dragging it on.

Well, it WAS kind of rushed. I kind of liked it. I'm glad he wasn't just in a coma the whole time or something.

One of the best parts of the show was his interactions with people in different times. Like his mom in the past and annie in 2008. But now we know that none of that is real. And come on. Spaceship? I would rather have him stay in the past.

Anyone disappointed or in love with the US version, just know that the UK version is superb. I just read "spaceship" in here and the Brits didn't do anything like that.

I obviously watched the UK version and it was brillant, one of my favourite TV programmes of all time- I must say I was sort of disappointed they were going to make a US version because nothing could match it and there's only one Gene Hunt!! So if you watch the US version, watch the original GB one, it's brilliant! Oh and Ashes to Ashes is worth a look as well, not as good as Life on Mars but still pretty dam good

I liked the ending, I was not expecting it. And yes it was rushed, too bad they did not have more time to do more episodes. If ABC would have promoted it as much as they have been promoting The Unusuals, maybe the show would have had more viewers.
I'm going to look for the British version online somewhere. Anyone know where to find it?
