Ya know - there were 2 games I was going to buck the trend here and go for the team no one had picked - Oakland and Denver - I only went for Denver - Har-umph (written way before the Denver-San Diego game - so it might end up being a double Har-umph)

OK - there's no way that Tampa Bay would lose to a 2nd AFC West team while they were 13 point favorites and at home - no way

Then there's little chance that the Houston Texans could beat the Monsters of the Midway - the vaunted Chicago Bears - even though they were home - nah - no way.

Then we have the home town Eagles (or as they are called here - the Iggles - and no - not named after me) who should have put the Washington Redskins in the ground last week - who probably should have been in 1st place had they actually run the ball on occasion early in the season - who had to have two other teams lose just for a chance to sniff the playoffs - ain't gonna happen.

I am not one to really gloat - or get all that excited about who wins or loses - but it did my heart good to see John Gruden go down in flames to his former team in Tampa yesterday and I have always loved those Texans since they entered the league - but the best was seeing Mr Jessica Simpson - and by extension - Jerry Jones - being handed their lunch (and dinner) by the Eagles yesterday - yeah - How 'bout them Cowgirls!

Anyway - on to the playoffs kids - and we'll have some fun with them - I'll get it out to you tomorrow - as well as the weekly and Final Season Standings

down with dallas!! and favre!!! and cutler!!! two pro-bowlers not in the playoffs??? makes you wonder??

I was very upset that Chad Pennington didn't get voted for the Pro Bowl, he definately deserves it more than Favre, especially with that team which went 1-15 last season. What a job Sprano and Parcells have done down there!

Too bad the stupid Bears couldn't close the deal, all they had to do was win!!!

heck no the AFC east had it so easy this year with the NFC and AFC west teams being such cake teams. The only team that played well loosing tight games to good teams and beating bad teams was the pats call be biased if you want to but when the fish were struggling with the cheifs the pats put up 47-7 on the cards! the cards are going KC not so much. Pro bowl QBs manning big ben and Matty-boy-Cassle. (yes i did call him that all year)

Sorry to all that i havent been around but i was swaped and my school made it hard to get on J2
