What is everyone's opinion of the new music at that beginning of the show. I personally dont like it at all. Just my opinion though. No offense Jay...

They should just play the "win a date with warm taffy" song every episode so I can develop a hernia from sheer laughter.

I think the way it opens, the first few bars are in different time signatures and a little complicated to understand while Jay is talking. I feel confused about whether it's bluesy or has more of a reggae ish up-beat swing or what until he says "The Jay and Jack Show" with the emphasis that follows the music. And then it's actually more straight up and faster than it feels like it starts out as...
Otherwise I think it's OK. I miss Jay saying "HE-llo everyboDY" from the ramblecast.... But I like the copacetic "Sit back relax and enjoy the show" now, too.

I liked that Jay added some random stuff to the end of that. Example: Hello everybody and welcome to the ramblecast this friday yeah its friday and next week we're going to comic con. Or something random like that. I do really enjoy that Jay says like "this podcast has everything you can think of" and each week jack finishes the sentence with something they talk about during the episode. All in all I love the music. Warm taffy song needs to be LOUDER! |

I like it. It's starting to get stuck in my head . . . I tend to get Movie Picks stuck in my head. I was whistling it one day at work, and than sang Movie Picks. My co-worker looked at me and laughed. |
